Home for Lease
Due to a unique set of circumstances, Sydney and Beverly Jordan will be spending a substantial portion of their time out of state for the next several years. As a result, they are offering for lease their beautiful home located on the historic Black Gold Ranch near Skiatook. This home is the result of the complete re-construction of a historic structure in 1977. It was further updated and a magnificent master suite was added in 1997 bringing the total living area to approximately 3300 sq. ft.
Some of the features of the home:
→ Formal Living Room. An elegant well-lighted room. An excellent setting for your antique furniture.
→ Music room. This room is connected to the formal living room by French doors and has plenty of room for a grand piano plus a sitting area. It could be used as a 4th bedroom.
→ Formal dining room features hardwood floor, wainscoting of antique car siding and an antique brass chandelier from the home of Dr. B. H. Humphreys a pioneer area physician.
→ The kitchen includes a separate eating area and features hand-finished ash cabinetry, built-in oven and microwave, ceramic cook-top, dishwasher and trash compactor.
→ The family room has hand-finished ash paneling and a massive wood-burning stone fireplace. The fireplace is equipped with a “Free Heat Machine,” a very efficient insert that is capable of heating a large portion of the house if desired.
→ The large utility room has tons of cabinets and counter-space as well as a utility sink and a sewing area. It also contains a large deep-freeze which remains with the house.
→ The large two-car attached garage has garage door openers and a 220 volt outlet for welder or air compressor.
→ The deck and raised patio comprise a large outdoor living area that is shaded in the evening. The large covered front porch is shaded in the morning.
→ The most impressive feature of this home is its magnificent master suite. Perhaps its single most stunning feature is the 20 foot high wall of windows overlooking beautiful green pastures. It almost gives one the feeling of sleeping under the stars. The entire suite is framed by extensive cherry-wood custom trim. The library features extensive hand-made bookshelves and cabinetry as well as a small, secluded private study which is dominated by an antique desk from the office of Dr. Humphreys. The large master closet features extensive built-in storage drawers and massive overhead storage space. The master bath contains a double vanity, bidet, large glass-enclosed shower and the pièce de ré·sis·tance, a large sunken Jacuzzi-type tub.
On a cold winter evening, nothing could be finer than luxuriously lounging in the Jacuzzi with a hot cappuccino, then drying off in the warm glow of the fireplace—yes, the master bath has a fireplace as does the master bedroom. Both these fireplaces can burn wood, but are currently equipped with gas logs. Oh, yes, the master suite also contains a wet bar complete with fridge and built-in cabinets for your TV and stereo.
→ The ‘middle’ bedroom has hardwood floors and has a walk-in closet and a full bath within. The ‘front’ bedroom is served by a full bath in the adjacent hallway.
→ This home is served by an energy-saving three zone heating and cooling system. Unused portions of the house can be “shut down” to save on utility costs.
→ Special attention has been given to lighting throughout the house and most rooms have ceiling fans.
Mr. and Mrs. Jordan are offering this outstanding home on a one-year lease at the rate of $1600 per month. They will consider options to renew or to purchase. The lease would include a small horse barn and pasture sufficient for 1 or 2 horses. A larger barn/shop and an additional 50 acres of pasture could be made available subject to further negotiations.
Downtown Tulsa is approximately 20 minutes away and it is approximately 40 minutes to downtown Bartlesville. Beautiful Skiatook Lake is only minutes away and scenic Hominy Creek runs through the ranch with Hominy Falls providing a great place for family fun.
A security deposit and excellent references will be required. If you have further questions or to arrange a visit, please call (918) 671-2203 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
